Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957) first observed orgone energy in the late 1920s. Orgone energy can be compared to the Qi; life force energy that is found everywhere. Orgonite are small (orgone generating) devices which are able to protect against the harmful electromagnetic waves that can affect our life force energy.
My orgonite pieces are the combination of a high grade quartz crystal and metal shavings suspended in an acrylic casting resin. I often put other crystals in as well, such as rose quartz, amethyst or adventurine. The resin shrinks during the curing process, permanently squeezing the quartz crystal and metal shavings together, which create a piezoelectric effect inside the crystal, meaning its end-point becomes polarized electrically. It is believed that this is what causes the orgonite to function so effectively as a positive energy generator and protector against the harmful electromagnetic waves that are all around us.
Placing orgonite near your computer, tv and microwave is very helpful and healthful (and your plants will love it too!)
